DEATH GUILD
Gothic industrial 80's music Monday at Trocadero Transfer. Dress ranges from Scottish kilts to Victorian fashions to jeans and T-shirts - anything but suits and ties. There is purple and green hair, not to mention white face paint.
The music is dark, deep and spooky. The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, Dead Can Dance and smaller local bands such as Apocalypse Theatre are in heavy rotation. People dance as if they are pulling taffy - lots of fluid movement of arms and legs.
